Electric Tuggers
Electric tuggers move heavy wheeled carts and trailers without pushing or pulling by hand. A tugger is a walk-behind cart mover for warehouses, hospitals, hotel laundries, mailrooms and plant floors.
A tugger does not lift loads. It tows them on casters, or on rails for the heaviest industrial jobs. The Pony Express line from EK Tech tows from 1,500 lb with the compact models up to 25,000 lb on casters with the AC Tugger 25K+.

Can a tugger handle ramps?
The 1061-HD, 1062, 1065 and 1065-XHD are rated for inclines up to 30 degrees with a reduced load. Tell us the slope and the full weight and we confirm the right model before you order.
Will it fit our elevators and halls?
The 1062, 1065 and 1065-XHD bodies are 25 by 24 inches. The 1061-HD is 24.5 inches wide and its length adjusts from 39 to 54 inches. The AC Tugger 25K+ is 52 by 30 inches. Send us your elevator size and cart length and we check that the tugger and cart fit together.
How does a tugger charge?
The AGM models have a built in charger that plugs into a standard 120 or 240 volt outlet and recharges in about 4 hours. The lithium models use an external charger and the packs swap in seconds.
