Overview
The CartCaddyHD ChainDrive moves heavy carts and equipment up to 50,000 lb, including carts on rail, where a forklift would otherwise be used. It puts up to 2,000 lb of push and pull force on the load.
A 3 hp motor drives through a 2 to 1 chain reduction. The hydraulic lift raises up to 6,000 lb of the load onto the tug for traction. Three 85 Ah batteries on a 36 V system run up to 16 hours. The load needs a fixed steel tongue with a ball coupler or pintle eye.
