Overview
The Pony Express AC Vector cart moves die sets, coils, fixtures and machine bases across a plant floor without a forklift. It is built in capacity tiers from 10,000 to 30,000 lb on a standard 36 by 62 inch usable deck, and custom deck sizes and tops are available.
A 1.7 kW, 48 volt AC drive gives full torque across the speed range. The operator can creep a heavy load at 0.1 mph or run up to 3 mph in the high setting. Regenerative braking returns energy to the battery each time the cart slows, and an electromagnetic brake holds it when it stops.
Steering is electronic. The drive wheel turns 90 degrees left or right, so the cart turns in about its own length, with no hydraulic steering parts to maintain.
Battery packs sit in a cradle and lift out, so a charged pack can go in while the other charges. Choose 48 volt AGM packs of 100, 200 or 300 Ah or lithium iron phosphate packs of 120, 240 or 360 Ah. An onboard display and a phone app show the state of charge.

How much can the AC Vector cart carry?
It is built in tiers from 10,000 to 30,000 lb. The tier is set when the cart is configured, so tell us your heaviest load and how it sits on the deck.
How precisely can it place a heavy load?
Speed control goes down to 0.1 mph, and the AC drive keeps full torque at that crawl, so the operator can inch a load into position.
How does it keep running across shifts?
The battery packs sit in a cradle and lift out. With a spare pack on the external charging station, a charged pack goes in when the other runs low.
What deck size comes standard?
A 36 by 62 inch usable deck on a welded steel frame. Custom deck sizes and custom tops for tooling or fixtured loads are available.
