Overview
In a big plant or on a campus, the walk from the shop to the job is long, and a loaded tool chest is heavy to push. A motorized tool cart carries the chest on a powered base while the technician walks alongside.
There are three ways to build one. Your existing tool cart comes off its casters and mounts on a motorized platform cart of the right size. A tool cabinet or workbench mounts on a motorized platform from the start. Or a retrofit kit motorizes the manual tool cart your crew already uses.
Choose a deck longer than the chest, so there is room for parts and job gear. Plan for the height too. The deck a cabinet mounts to sits about 12 inches off the floor, which usually raises the cabinet a few inches above where it sat on casters.
Every cart in this line is built to order, so it is priced by written quote. Send us what you move, its weight and size, and the route it travels, including doors, elevators and ramps. We confirm the build with the factory and send the quote with the lead time.

Questions
Do we need new tool chests?
No. The usual build takes the casters off your manual tool cart and mounts the body on a motorized platform cart. A retrofit kit can also motorize the manual cart itself.
Will the cabinet sit higher than on casters?
A little. The deck a cabinet mounts to is about 12 inches off the floor, which usually raises it a few inches. Check that against the benches and machines your crew works beside.
How much will it carry?
Capacity comes from the platform cart under the chest. Tell us the weight of the loaded chest and anything else on the deck and the factory sizes the cart.
How do I get a price?

How does it arrive?
Most machines go by freight truck from the factory. Parts and smaller items can go by FedEx or UPS. Freight to your ZIP is on your quote before you order. Rush and overnight shipping cost extra. We sell and ship to US addresses only.
