Overview
Long material is too long for a normal cart and awkward on a forklift. A motorized long deck cart puts the whole length on one powered deck so one operator walks it to the next station. Loads run up to 5,000 lb, and higher capacities are available with dual drive systems.
The cart pivots around its center, so the ends swing through a turn instead of the whole length dragging around a corner. Decks have typically run 12 to 18 feet, built to the material you move.
Hand controls go where the work happens, on the left side, right side, front, back or both ends. With the handle off to one side, material can overhang both ends of the deck. Controls at both ends help where there is no room to turn around.
The deck can be plate steel, wood or diamond plate, drilled to your dimensions, with removable posts or rails, cradles for round loads, shelving or a conveyor. Every cart in this line is built to order, so it is priced by written quote. Send us what you move, its weight and size, and the route it travels, including doors, elevators and ramps. We confirm the build with the factory and send the quote with the lead time.

Typical decks run 12 to 18 feet, and longer decks are quoted on request. Your aisles and doorways usually set the practical limit.
How does a cart this long turn a corner?
It pivots around its center, so the ends swing through the turn. That gets long loads through doorways and down packed aisles.
How is the material held on the deck?
With removable posts or rails, cradles for pipe and other round loads, or built in shelving. A powered or gravity conveyor can be mounted when material has to roll off the end.
