Overview
The AircraftCaddy DNW moves dual nose wheel aircraft up to 35,000 lb, and it works on single nose wheel aircraft too. The nose wheels sit on a turntable, which gives 180 degrees of fifth wheel style steering while the tug turns 90 degrees each way under the gear.
An electric winch pulls the aircraft onto the turntable. A three battery 36 volt system with an onboard charger drives it at 0 to 2 mph forward and reverse through a 2 to 1 chain reduction, on solid hard rubber tires.
Options include a wheel guide for dual nose wheels, WagonWheel steering, an electric winch with steel cable and wheel tether, a ball hitch bracket, a safety stop switch and a molded handle. We confirm which winch your build includes in the quote.
