Overview
The 0244-302 gives the tugger a pintle hook tow point for carts and trailers with a lunette ring or drawbar eye. The jaw opens and latches around the ring, so one operator hooks and drops loads without help.
It takes a drawbar eye with a 2 to 3 inch inside diameter and a ring thickness of 1-1/4 to 1-5/8 inches. The body is drop forged steel with a black powder coat and weighs about 9 lb. A pintle lets the ring pivot, which helps on uneven floors, ramps and tight turns with a cart train.

What goes on the cart?
A ring coupler, such as the 0244-302-299 rated 5,000 lb or the 0244-302-01 rated 10,000 lb. Both mount on the cart and give the pintle hook a ring to grab.
