Overview
The MCSC-244815-60 carries linen, towels and bedding on a powered base, so one person moves up to 1,500 lb without pushing. Three adjustable wire shelves sit on a 24 by 48 inch deck, each rated for 500 lb, and a zippered vinyl cover keeps clean linen covered between floors.
The cart is 60 inches long, 27.5 inches wide and 72 inches tall with 60 inch shelving. Center wheel drive turns it in a tight circle in halls and laundry rooms. The thumb control runs from 0 to 1.5 mph in low range and up to 3 mph in high, forward and reverse.
A sealed 35 Ah AGM battery runs up to 8 hours on a charge and recharges in about 4 hours from the onboard charger on a standard 120 or 240 volt outlet. Regenerative braking slows the cart, and an automatic holding brake keeps it from rolling back on ramps up to 15 degrees. A keyed power switch, emergency stop, horn and battery gauge come standard.
This is the taller 60 inch shelving frame. The MCSC-244815-54 is the same cart with 54 inch shelving and a 66 inch overall height.

How long does it run on a charge?
Up to 8 hours on the 35 Ah AGM battery. The onboard charger plugs into a standard 120 or 240 volt outlet and recharges it in about 4 hours, so an overnight charge covers the next shift.
Can it handle ramps?
It is rated for inclines up to 15 degrees. Regenerative braking slows the loaded cart, and the automatic holding brake stops it rolling back when the operator lets go of the control.
Can we add shelves or change the cover?
Yes. Extra shelves can be added to any of these linen carts, and covers come with a zipper or a hook and loop closure. List what you need on the quote request.
