Overview
The Pony Express 1050-EL drives a load to where it is needed and then lifts it to working height. It carries up to 1,000 lb on a 23 by 43.5 inch platform and raises it from 18.5 inches to 64 inches off the floor in about 17 seconds.
One operator walks behind and steers with a variable speed control, up to 3 mph in the fast mode and 1.5 mph in the slow mode. Regenerative braking slows the cart and an automatic holding brake keeps it in place when the operator lets go. The cart is rated for a 6 degree incline.
Deep cycle AGM batteries power both the drive and the lift and give up to 10 miles of operation on a charge. The smart charger is on board and plugs into a 120 or 240 volt outlet.
It suits warehouses, plants, labs and stockrooms where loads are moved and then worked at bench height. For heavier loads or bigger platforms, see the Pony Express 1052.

How high does the 1050-EL lift?
The platform rises from 18.5 inches to 64 inches off the floor, 45.5 inches of travel, in about 17 seconds.
How much can it lift?
Up to 1,000 lb on a flat surface, on a 23 by 43.5 inch platform. For 2,000 or 2,500 lb, see the Pony Express 1052.
Can it drive on a ramp?
It is rated for a 6 degree incline. The automatic holding brake stops the cart rolling when the operator lets go on a slope.
What tops are available?
A gravity roller conveyor top and a ball transfer top are available, along with an accordion safety skirt around the scissor mechanism. Tell us what you load and we quote the right top.
