Overview
The mechanical straddle VRC is a two-post freight lift for high throughput jobs with steady, repeatable runs. The carriage sits between the posts, which allows longer carriages and loading straight through.
The carriage lowers to 4.25 inches. Synchronized lifting chains keep it level, and custom builds have reached about 100 feet of travel.
There are 6 standard models that handle 1,000 to 6,000 lb. Vertical travel is 144 in. Lowered height is 4.25 in. Carriage widths are 48 to 120 in and lengths are 36 to 144 in. Each model has its own row and model number in the table on this page.
