Overview
The hydraulic straddle VRC is a two-post freight lift with the carriage between the two guide beams. That layout allows bigger and longer carriages for larger loads.
A 4 to 1 cable reeving system gets more travel from each inch of cylinder stroke and keeps stress in the lifting cables low. Sizes beyond the standard models can be built to order.
There are 6 standard models that handle 3,000 to 6,000 lb. Vertical travel is 192 to 360 in. Lowered height is 4.25 in. Carriage widths are 48 to 96 in and lengths are 48 to 144 in. Each model has its own row and model number in the table on this page.
What comes standard
- Rubber carriage stops that absorb shock and noise at the upper landing
- Self-aligning hydraulic cylinders with chrome-plated rods
- Automatic re-pressurization keeps the carriage level with the upper landing
- Physical stops hold the carriage still during loading at the upper landing
- 4 to 1 cable reeving with 10 to 12 inch sheaves
