Tell us what you move and where. Add drawings if you have them.
Every door, ramp, turn and elevator, before we quote.
We call the maker ourselves for build dates and answers.
It lists the machine, options, freight and build time.
We order from the factory and tell you the ship date.
Coil transfer cars move rolls and coils on rails with a powered traverse drive, with or without a hydraulic lift. They take coils to the mandrel and stage them without an overhead crane or a fork truck.
The cars run in automatic or manual control and can travel with the load raised when the job needs it. They are built to set on the track and connect to power.
There are 20 standard models that handle 1,500 to 15,000 lb. Vertical travel is 24 to 60 in. Lowered height is 10.5 to 16.5 in. Platform widths are 24 to 60 in and lengths are 36 to 120 in. Each model has its own row and model number in the table on this page.
Yes. The car sets on a track and a powered traverse drive moves it. Send us the coil weight and size, the travel distance and the mandrel height, and we confirm the model.
Start with the heaviest load and its footprint. Pick a model whose capacity covers the load and whose platform fits it, then check the lowered and raised heights against your work heights. Each model has its own row and model number on this page.
The model number from the table, or the load weight and size and the heights you need. Add the power at the site and your delivery ZIP code. We confirm the model and send a written quote.
The speed depends on the model, the load and the power unit. The maker does not list it for the standard models, so ask us for the time on the model you need.
Call us or send the form. Tell us what you move, the route and your ZIP. We send a written quote with the machine, freight and build time.
Most machines go by freight truck from the factory. Parts and smaller items can go by FedEx or UPS. Freight to your ZIP is on your quote before you order. Rush and overnight shipping cost extra. We sell and ship to US addresses only.
