Overview
The CarCaddyVP 7K moves vehicles up to 7,000 lb through showrooms, service shops and storage. A hydraulic dual tire engaging system grips the tires to load the vehicle, so there is no contact with the bumper or paint.
It steers and drives through one 1 HP wheel with a thumb control from 0 to 3 mph forward and reverse. A 36 volt system of three batteries runs it, with a 4.5 amp onboard charger. A keylock switch, horn and safety stop switch are standard.
An electric actuator that moves the front arms in and out 12 inches is offered, along with a ride-on platform, a safety light, a 20 amp charger and AGM batteries.
Questions
Does it touch the paint or bumper?
No. Hydraulic arms grip both tires on one axle, so nothing presses on the body of the vehicle.
What is the difference from the 12K model?
The 7K is rated for vehicles up to 7,000 lb with a 1 HP drive wheel. The 12K takes vehicles up to 12,000 lb with a 3 HP motor.
How is it charged?
From its 4.5 amp onboard charger. A 20 amp charger is an option for faster turnarounds.
