Overview
The AircraftCaddy Rider and Walkie moves aircraft up to 15,000 lb, and the operator can ride on the platform or walk behind. It runs from 0 to 5 mph forward and reverse, which suits long moves across a ramp or apron.
A 3,000 lb differential transaxle with a 2 to 1 chain reduction drives it. A three battery 36 volt system powers it, with an onboard charger. An electric winch pulls the aircraft onto a turntable.
Options include a wheel guide for aircraft with or without wheel pants, an electric winch with a 7 foot strap and wheel tether, a DC power supply with a 10 foot cord, a ball hitch bracket, a safety stop switch, solid tires and a molded handle. We confirm which winch your build includes in the quote.
