Overview
The AircraftCaddy Magic Arm 8K moves aircraft up to 8,000 lb. Its Magic Arm mechanism loads and unloads the nose wheel under power, so the operator does not lift or force the aircraft into place.
A 3/4 HP 36 volt drive with a 2 to 1 chain reduction moves it at 0 to 2 mph forward and reverse. Three 12 volt batteries power it, with an onboard charger. Air filled tires are standard.
Options include a lithium battery, a DC power supply with a 10 foot cord, foam filled tires, a nine tooth gear for heavier aircraft and inclines, manual or electric winches, ball or pintle hitches, a safety stop switch, a molded handlebar and virtual training.
Questions
What does the Magic Arm do?
It loads and unloads the nose wheel under power, so one operator puts the aircraft on the tug without lifting it.
How is it different from the 4K and 8K tug?
Both move aircraft up to 8,000 lb. The Magic Arm 8K adds power loading and a 3/4 HP 36 volt drive with three batteries.
How big is it?
70.5 inches long, 40.5 inches wide and 39.75 inches to the handle head, from the maker drawing.
How do I get a price?
Call us or send the form. Tell us what you move, the route and your ZIP. We send a written quote with the machine, freight and build time.
How does it arrive?
Most machines go by freight truck from the factory. Parts and smaller items can go by FedEx or UPS. Freight to your ZIP is on your quote before you order. Rush and overnight shipping cost extra. We sell and ship to US addresses only.
