Buying guide
Pick a dumpster mover by the weight of a full bin, the slope on the route and the length of the trip. Weigh a bin on a heavy day before you choose.
Container weight
The movers here handle 2,000 to 50,000 lb. The WasteCaddyLite moves full dumpsters up to 2,000 lb, and the WasteCaddy Standard and the Ride-On up to 5,000 lb.
The WasteCaddy HD pushes or pulls up to 10,000 lb on level ground. The RollOffCaddy moves roll off containers and self contained compactors up to 50,000 lb.
Ramps and weather
The WasteCaddy HD is rated for steeper inclines such as underground parking garages. The Standard handles slight inclines and carries a 350 lb weight for traction.
The Ride-On pulls heavy containers up inclines through snow and ice. Snow tires and foam filled turf tires are options on the Lite and the HD.
Receivers and brackets
A mover latches into a receiver bracket that bolts or welds to each container. One machine then serves every bin with a receiver, so order one receiver per container you want to move.
Walk-behind, rider or hauler
The Lite, Standard and HD are walk-behind at up to 3 mph. The Ride-On carries the operator at up to 6 mph for long runs to the compactor or the curb.
The Dump Hopper and the Trash Hauler carry loose refuse from several collection points to the main dumpster instead of towing a bin.

Questions
Can one person move a full dumpster?
Yes. The machine takes the load and the operator steers at walking pace, which replaces a two or three person push.
Will a mover fit our trash room?
The Lite, Standard, Ride-On and HD are 27 to 27 3/8 inches wide. Send us the door and room sizes and we check the fit.
Does a dumpster mover empty the bin?
No. It moves the container across the ground and does not lift, tip or empty it. Emptying stays with your waste hauler.
Are they quiet enough for early collection?
They are battery powered with no engine and no exhaust, so they work indoors, in trash rooms and at residential properties.
How heavy a container can a dumpster mover move?
The WasteCaddyLite moves bins to 2,000 lb, the Standard and the Ride-On 5,000 lb, the HD 10,000 lb, and the RollOffCaddy 50,000 lb roll off containers.
