Vehicle weight
The movers here handle 7,000 to 200,000 lb. The CarCaddyVP 7K pulls vehicles up to 7,000 lb, the CarCaddy pushes up to 10,000 lb and the CarCaddyVP 12K pulls up to 12,000 lb.
The CarCaddy takes vehicles up to 30,000 lb with its heavy duty upgrade. The TruckCaddy moves heavy trucks up to 60,000 lb, and the RailcarCaddy moves railcars up to 200,000 lb.
Push pad or tire grip
A pusher meets the vehicle with a pad, and a puller holds the tires. The CarCaddy pushes with an adjustable non-marking pad. The CarCaddyVP models grip both tires on one axle with hydraulic arms, so nothing presses on the bumper or paint.
The CarCaddyVP 12K takes up to 6,000 lb on the axle it lifts, so check the axle weight as well as the total. Its 8,000 lb electric actuator moves the arms in and out 12 inches to fit the wheelbase.
Floors and ramps
Ratings are for flat floors. The CarCaddy needs more power on inclines, and foam filled and snow tires are options on it. Give us the steepest slope on the route.
Walk or ride
The car movers run at up to 3 mph with the operator walking behind. A ride-on platform is an option on both CarCaddyVP models for longer moves. The TruckCaddy runs at up to 2 mph.

Questions
Do we need to start the vehicle?
No. The mover supplies the power, so cars and trucks move with the engine off.
How are the car movers charged?
The CarCaddy charges from a standard 120 volt outlet. The CarCaddyVP models have a 4.5 amp onboard charger, and the 7K offers a 20 amp charger.
Can they move vehicles outdoors?
Yes, on firm, level ground. Snow tires and foam filled tires are options on the CarCaddy. Tell us the surface and we confirm the model.
How heavy a vehicle can a car pusher move?
The CarCaddyVP 7K pulls cars to 7,000 lb and the 12K to 12,000 lb, the CarCaddy pushes vehicles to 10,000 lb, the TruckCaddy pushes trucks to 60,000 lb, and the RailcarCaddy moves railcars to 200,000 lb.
How do I get a price?

How does it arrive?
Most machines go by freight truck from the factory. Parts and smaller items can go by FedEx or UPS. Freight to your ZIP is on your quote before you order. Rush and overnight shipping cost extra. We sell and ship to US addresses only.
What warranty comes with it?
EK Tech covers Pony Express tuggers for 2 years on the frame and drive and 1 year on other parts. For DJ Products and Autoquip equipment, ask us.
