Buying guide
Pick a mover by what it moves, how heavy it is and the ground it crosses. Send us those three and we confirm the machine before you order.
Pick the type
Each type fits one kind of load. Cart pushers move carts up to 20,000 lb. Trailer dollies move trailers from 10,000 to 100,000 lb, and the terminal tractor spots semi trailers up to 100,000 lb at dock doors.
Dumpster movers handle containers from 2,000 lb bins to 50,000 lb roll off containers. Aircraft tugs move aircraft from 4,000 to 35,000 lb. Vehicle movers take cars, trucks and railcars from 7,000 to 200,000 lb. The DrumCaddy lifts and hauls drums up to 2,000 lb.
Weight and ground
Size the machine to the heaviest load it will move. Most ratings are for level ground, and a ramp, gravel, grass or snow takes more power.
Several models offer foam filled, turf or snow tires, and some aircraft tugs take a nine tooth gear for more torque at a lower speed. Give us the steepest slope on the route and the surface.
Batteries and charging
Most of these machines run a 36 volt system of three 12 volt batteries. The heaviest trailer movers and the terminal tractor run 48 volts, and some take 8 or 16 batteries for longer shifts.
Several models charge from a standard 120 volt outlet. Others use an onboard or external charger, and a few offer lithium or AGM batteries.

Photos of the load help. We check the job against the machine and send a written quote with the model, the options and freight.
Questions
Do these machines lift loads?
Most move a load on its own wheels and do not lift it. The exceptions lift only part of the load, such as a trailer tongue, an aircraft nose wheel or a drum.
Why is there no price on the page?
Each machine is configured for its load, attachment and battery, so it is priced on a written quote. Tell us the job and we price the build.
Can one person operate them?
Yes. That is the point of the machine. One operator walks behind or rides, and the machine takes the weight.
How much can a powered mover push or pull?
Cart pushers move 1,000 to 20,000 lb carts, dumpster movers 2,000 to 50,000 lb containers, aircraft tugs 4,000 to 35,000 lb aircraft, trailer dollies 10,000 to 100,000 lb trailers, and the vehicle movers 7,000 lb cars up to 200,000 lb railcars. Each is rated for its own load on firm, level ground.
How do I get a price?
Call us or send the form. Tell us what you move, the route and your ZIP. We send a written quote with the machine, freight and build time.
How does it arrive?
Most machines go by freight truck from the factory. Parts and smaller items can go by FedEx or UPS. Freight to your ZIP is on your quote before you order. Rush and overnight shipping cost extra. We sell and ship to US addresses only.
What warranty comes with it?
