Buying guide
Choose a cylinder cart by the cylinders you move, how many go on one trip and the route. Tell us those and we confirm the cart before you order.
Cylinder size and count
The MGC racks hold 24, 32, 40 or 48 cylinders in M7, M9, C, D and E sizes. The 2010 carries one liquid gas cylinder or up to four K size cylinders. The 2100 carries one liquid cylinder up to 850 lb, 20 inches across and 57 to 69 inches tall.
Pick the rack for the number of cylinders one person moves on a normal trip, not the most the cart could hold. The MGC and 2010 carts are loaded by hand. The 2100 loads and unloads its cylinder with a powered cradle and hook, so nobody tips the cylinder.
Coated or bare rack
MGC model numbers ending in C have a plasticized rack coating, so cylinders never touch bare metal. The coating prevents scratches and chipping and cuts noise in halls and labs. The same four rack sizes come uncoated.
Deck, ramps and floors
MGC racks ride on a standard 1,500 or 2,000 lb deck, and larger payloads are built to order. They are rated for 6 degree inclines, a brake stops roll back, and non-marking tires protect finished floors. The 2010 and 2100 use regenerative braking for a controlled stop at any speed.
Charging and range
Each cart covers up to 10 miles per charge at 0 to 3 mph, and the onboard chargers plug into any 100 to 240 volt outlet.

Questions
Can you build a rack for other cylinders?
Yes. Larger cylinder racks, custom decks and cylinder loading are built to order. Send the cylinder sizes and how many you move and we quote the build.
What safety controls come standard?
The MGC carts have a roll back brake, a dead man stop, a keyed power lock, a horn and an emergency stop. The 2010 and 2100 have a horn and an emergency stop, and the 2100 adds a parking brake.
Will a full rack fit in our elevator?
It depends on the rack and the deck. Send us the elevator car size, the door widths and the number of cylinders per trip and we confirm the fit before you order.
How many cylinders does a motorized cylinder cart carry?
The MGC racks hold 24, 32, 40 or 48 small medical cylinders in the M7, M9, C, D and E sizes. The 2010 and 2100 delivery carts carry the big ones, from K size cylinders to liquid cylinders up to 850 lb.
