Buying guide
Choose a turntable by the load, how it sits on the platform and whether it turns by hand or by motor.
Manual or powered
The Series 35 manual turntable turns by hand on rollers with double-row ball bearings, with a 4 in lowered height. The Series 35 powered turntable turns by chain drive under automatic control, with a 10 in lowered height. The high capacity powered turntable turns at constant or variable speed in one or both directions, with single-direction or two-direction controls. Common uses for it are conveyor systems, metal processing, heavy load positioning and automated lines.
Capacity and off-center loads
Standard models handle 2,500 to 50,000 lb. The high capacity turntables ride on a ring bearing rated for high off-center loads, so they suit loads that sit near the edge. The Series 35 turntables use a retention system that keeps the platform from tipping. They handle 2,500 to 6,000 lb on platforms from 36 to 56 in, and the high capacity models handle 5,000 to 50,000 lb on platforms up to 144 in.
On a lift table or on its own
Every turntable works on its own. The Series 35 turntables also mount on a Series 35 scissor lift table. Turntable and lift are sold as separate units.

Questions
What stops a powered turntable on a jam?
The Series 35 powered turntable has an adjustable torque limiter that slips on an overload or a jammed load to protect the motor and gearbox.
Can a turntable be moved later?
Yes. The bases have lag-down holes, so a turntable can be unbolted and set down at a new station.
How big are the platforms?
Standard platforms run from 24 by 24 in to 144 by 144 in. Each model's size is on its line page.
How much can an industrial turntable carry?
The Series 35 manual and powered turntables rotate 2,500 to 6,000 lb, and the high capacity powered turntable 5,000 to 50,000 lb, on platforms from 24 by 24 in to 144 by 144 in.
How do I get a price?
Call us or send the form. Tell us what you move, the route and your ZIP. We send a written quote with the machine, freight and build time.
How does it arrive?

EK Tech covers Pony Express tuggers for 2 years on the frame and drive and 1 year on other parts. For DJ Products and Autoquip equipment, ask us.
