Overview
The high hinge dumper tilts non-fragile material through 120 degrees over a high, fixed hinge, usually to empty it into a raised container or collection point. It handles parts, ingredients, letters, packages and trash.
Single-acting hydraulic cylinders do the tilting, with the power unit inside or outside the base frame. Platforms come at a standard lowered height or as a pan style at 1/2 inch or less, so loads can roll on.
There are 3 standard models that handle 2,000 to 6,000 lb. The platform tilts 120 degrees. Lowered height is 0.375 to 0.5 in. Platform widths are 40 to 60 in and lengths are 36 to 54 in. Each model has its own row and model number in the table on this page.
What comes standard
- Tilts 120 degrees over a high fixed hinge
- Pan style roll-on platforms at 1/2 inch or less
- Manual override valves to lower a partly tilted load after a power loss
- Controls prewired and the drive on board. It is lagged to the floor and connected to power
- Chrome-plated cylinder rods and solid steel linkages
Questions
How high can it dump?
The dumper tilts 120 degrees over a fixed high hinge, so the discharge height depends on the model and hinge height. Send us the height of the container rim and the load weight, and we confirm the model.
How do we pick the right model?
Start with the heaviest load and its footprint. Pick a model whose capacity covers the load and whose platform fits it, then the tilt angle that brings the far side of the container within reach. Each model has its own row and model number on this page.
What do we send for a quote?
The model number from the table, or the load weight and size and the heights you need. Add the power at the site and your delivery ZIP code. We confirm the model and send a written quote.
How fast does it tilt?
The speed depends on the model, the load and the power unit. The maker does not list it for the standard models, so ask us for the time on the model you need.
How do I get a price?
Call us or send the form. Tell us what you move, the route and your ZIP. We send a written quote with the machine, freight and build time.
How does it arrive?
Most machines go by freight truck from the factory. Parts and smaller items can go by FedEx or UPS. Freight to your ZIP is on your quote before you order. Rush and overnight shipping cost extra. We sell and ship to US addresses only.
