Buying guide
Match a hitch to how your carts couple, then check it against your tugger. Each part page lists the models it fits.
Tugger side and cart side
A tow connection has two halves. The tugger carries the hitch, such as a pintle hook, a ball, a round bar or a pin hitch. Each cart carries the matching coupler, such as a ring coupler or a ball coupler. Cart to cart couplers link carts into a train.
Hitch families
The 1062 and 1065 tuggers take the 0244 hitch range on their front plate. The 1060 and 1061 use the 1060 hitch system with telescoping tube clamps and male and female hitches. The automatic coupling hitches come in 2,500 lb and 8,000 lb systems, each with its own bail coupler.
Batteries and chargers
The lithium 1061, 1061-HD and 1065 models share a 24 V, 40 Ah swappable pack and a charging station. The AC Tugger 25K+ uses 48 V packs, AGM or lithium, each with its own charger.

Questions
How do we know which hitch fits our carts?
Send us photos of the cart coupling and the tugger model. We match the hitch and the cart side coupler and confirm both part numbers in the quote.
Does a hitch change how much the tugger can tow?
The tugger rating sets the limit. Cart side couplers also carry their own rating, so the whole train must stay within the lower of the two.
Can parts be fitted to a tugger we already own?
Most hitches bolt to the front plate. Send us the serial number and we check the fit before you order.
How do I get a price?
Call us or send the form. Tell us what you move, the route and your ZIP. We send a written quote with the machine, freight and build time.
How does it arrive?
Most machines go by freight truck from the factory. Parts and smaller items can go by FedEx or UPS. Freight to your ZIP is on your quote before you order. Rush and overnight shipping cost extra. We sell and ship to US addresses only.
What warranty comes with it?
EK Tech covers Pony Express tuggers for 2 years on the frame and drive and 1 year on other parts. For DJ Products and Autoquip equipment, ask us.
